Vein Screenings are a complimentary service offered to anyone who is uncertain if their leg pain, swelling, restlessness, aching is due to underlying varicose veins. Most people that have early onset varicose vein disease do not have any visible manifestations of varicose veins, but yet do not know why their legs feel uncomfortable. These are the individuals that benefit the most for Free Vein Screenings.
Vein Screenings are a Free service. Your insurance and yourself will NOT be billed for this complimentary service. Because it is a complimentary service, you will not be entered into our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system as an "Established Patient."
If you are discovered to have venous disease at your Vein Screening and you want us to manage/treat your condition, this requires becoming an "established patient". In order to become an established patient, a Vein Consultation (comprehensive medical history and venous evaluation) will be required so that an electronic chart can be started for you (Electronic Medical Record system).
Vein Consultations, diagnostic procedures, and most varicose vein treatments are covered by most insurance companies, and in order to bill your insurance company, you must be on our EMR system. Being on our EMR system allows you access to your medical office notes at any time, and it allows us to forward our notes to your family physician efficiently.

CAN I SCHEDULE A VEIN CONSULTATION WITHOUT A VEIN SCREENING?
ABSOLUTELY! This is actually more time efficient for individuals who already know they want to have their varicose veins or spider veins treaated. If you wish to becoming an established patient from the start, please call our office at 517-371-5515 to schedule a consultation visit, or complete the Consultation Request form on the right of the screen and a staff member will contact you to schedule an appointment.
